I dropped by a party at the marina last night, to see what people were up to. Not a lot of sailing happening these days. But the wind sure is picking up for the winter. It would be a good time to get out and practice some skills, if I could handle the cold, wet weather.
I took the kids out to the yacht club today to have lunch and get some time on the boat before going on an actual sail. They pretty much wanted to play inside the cabin the whole time. I had to close it up so they would stay in the cockpit. After that, they did pretty well. So, we will see... we might go out for a sail tonight.
