fun weekend
I look at a picture like this and I just can't believe where these kids came from. They are so old. They really do grow up fast. I know every parent says that. It's true.
Friday afternoon, we decided to jump in the car and do a quick weekend trip to Disneyland. We were a little concerned about spring break crowds, but figured we had been to Disneyland between Christmas and New Years, and nothing could top that.
Our strategy at Disneyland seems to work great for going on continuous rides. When we get in, we pickup a fast pass on a ride - Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, etc. As soon as the ticket says we can pick up another one, we do. And we repeat that process pretty much all day until they stop giving out fast passes. The thing about the fast pass that many people might not know is that they don't expire. The ticket might say "10 AM - 11 AM" - making you think you need to be there between those times - but you don't. They will always honor the fast pass later. So we pick 'em up as quickly as we can, go on rides that have small lines in the AM, then we fast pass our way into the night on all the sweet rides.
